Dr. Merzudin “Mirza” Selimovic is a children’s book author and proud NICU dad. He creates stories and experiences that offer comfort, connection, and hope to families during life’s most vulnerable moments. His debut book, Little Quack, Big Heart: A NICU Journey, was inspired by his own family’s experience in the NICU and serves as the first of many stories in the series.

Mirza also holds a doctorate in education and has spent nearly two decades working in the learning and development field, helping people grow both personally and professionally. He lives in St. Louis with his wife and son, where they spend weekends exploring new parks, ice cream shops, and soaking up the everyday moments that spark each new story.
